GPC™ 2.0 BASE
GPC™ 2.0 – the second version of the Ginger's Plate Carrier tactical vest. New solutions that are focused primarily on the ergonomics of carrying ballistics and equipment. Light and minimalistic, this tactical vest is designed for maximum mobility and versatility.
Carrying system:
The new Hypalon shoulder straps provide the lowest strap thickness in their class - they guarantee perfect cooperation with the backpack and rifle sling. They are perfect for low-profile activities. The harness has a centimeter scale, helpful in equal adjustment.
The inner part of the vest and the basic shoulder pads are made of stretch. This allows for higher comfort during use compared to Cordura 500D. This solution is also much more durable and easier to keep clean than the popularly used spacer meshes.
In order to improve air circulation on the body side, the vest is equipped with special slots for mounting Foam Pads Set GPC™ 2.0, designated foams for use in complex, heavy configurations.
The installation of side panels (cummerbunds) is based on Velcro panels on the rear and front . High front Velcro panel allows for smooth adjustment of the height.
Equipment configuration on the vest
The flap attachment system is based on four straps that are fastened under the front panel.
The internal panel for mounting straps can also be used to attach tegris wings or other accessories. This solution separates the place where the vest's side straps (cummerbunds) are fastened, preventing additional panels attached with Velcro from detaching when unfastening the vest's side straps.
At the bottom of the front, the vest has special integrated loops that allow the use of an accessory protection for the front flap "Front Flap Security Kit", so we can be sure that our flap will be properly protected against uncontrolled opening during parachute jumps.
In the upper part of the front cover of the vest, under the PALS columns with sewn-in Velcro, there are holes intended to routing cables inside the vest, which allows for easy arrangement of excess cables inside the cover.
There are vertical straps on the sides for optional installation of flaps using ITW Nexus QASM buckles.
Mounting points integrated with the Hypalon supporting system can be used to attach "PTT" or other accessories.
A PALS standard panel on the back of the vest allows you to configure equipment over the entire surface.
Additional features:
An integrated, reinforced evacuation handle, protruding beyond the outline of the vest, allows for a firm grip during an emergency situation. Additionally, it is helpful when storing of the vest.
The inner part, made of stretch, is the answer to the problem of matching the size of the vest to the ballistic plates available on the market while maintaining the smallest possible dimensions and the stability of the transferred ballistics.
